The Iberians in Terra Alta

The Iberians, specifically the tribe of the Ircarcavones, inhabited, among others, the area of ​​Terra Alta where we find the Iberian site of Coll del Moro in the municipality of Gandesa and consisting of a village and a necropolis.

Recently, some excavations have brought to light the oldest tank in Catalonia and it is estimated that it is from the third century BC, which shows us a long tradition of the people of Terra Alta in elaboration of wines.
