Elaboration
Fermented and macerated in stainless steel tanks for 21 days with indigenous yeast. Aging in clay amphoras during 9 months.
On the nose
Ripe strawberry, fresh fruits such as cherries and currants and citrus notes like mandarine.
On the palate
Fresh entrance, balanced, silky with good acidity.
Pairing
Smoked dishes, spicy dishes, blue fishes, red roasted meats, red meats with sauce, mushrooms, roasted pork, stews, etc.
Recommendations
To serve between 15-17ºC.
Description
El Templari is an oaked Red wine 100% Morenillo from Bàrbara Forés winery, Gandesa, DO Terra Alta. The Morenillo is a nearly excint variety that we started to replant in the late ’90. Everything in it is large in size: the trunk, the branches, leaves and grapes.
