The project European Region of Gastronomy is promoted by Platform of European regions an is managed byInternational Institue of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism, it was born in march of 2015 and its purpose is to highlight and promote that regions of Europe that collaborates to improve the citizen’s life highlighting the different food cultures, Health education, sustainability and gastronomic innovation.
So, Catalonia and portuguese region of Minho have been the first to obtain this recognition.
We’re aware about the importance of wine and olive oil in mediterranean and catalan cuisine along of centuries and also we’re excited about this enrollment because it gives us the opportunity to offer our activities and experiencies about wine tourism to European people.
