On Saturday May 30th ViOrigen organize the first meeting for photo and wine lovers: 1st Photowalk #ViOrigen. It is an activity designed to enjoy the lush spring landscape in Terra Alta. After heavy rains of winter and beginning of spring, forests and countryside crops offer a rich rural landscape in tones and textures; a natural spectacle to our eyes and our camera’s lens.

The activity will start at 10:30 a.m.when we will go to a vineyard in Gandesa, where we will enjoy stunning views of the mountains of Pàndols and Els Ports Natural Park. On the same vineyard we will explain the peculiarities of vine cultivation in the Terra Alta and we will see practical tasks carried out at this time in the vineyards: the green pruning.

After, we will go to the Coll de Moro observation point, where we will stop to observe all the Plaint of Gandesa, different crops and relief. We will continue to Old Town of Corbera d’Ebre, where walking there we will relive the village life, witness of the hardest events of the Battle of the Ebro. This magnificent place we will take a guided tasting of different wines of Terra Alta.

Finally, we will go to a vineyard located between Villalba dels Arcs and Gandesa. There, surrounded by vineyards and large windmills, we will enjoy a traditional countryside meal, La Clotxa that will be the end of this first Photowalk ViOrigen.

All photos taken during the day wishing to participate in the activity must hang on Instagram with the hashtag #ViOrigen, the best picture will be rewarded with three Terra Alta wines.
